NIGHTEYES00 WHO?

I’m known in the web either as nighteyes., nighteyes, or nighteyes00, mostly. You can address me using my given name, though, which is Miia. LJ is what could be called my basecamp, or home around the immense realm that is the Internet, for I spend an awful lot of time here. Additionally, I frequently visit sites like Youtube, FanFiction.net, FinFanFun, Aamukampa, MSN Games, RestrictedSection.org, and a thousand others.

I am a 19-year-old Finnish female. That is, English isn’t my first language, but having studied it for ten years, loving it, and using it every day, I regard myself as fluent enough to update my LJ in said language for the most part.

My list of interests below speaks for itself as for my interests, values, and hobbies. Succinctly put, I’m religionally an agnostist (a Christian, nominally), politically on the left, straightforward, impatient, temperamental, fiercely loyal and at times comical by nature. I tend to be something of an extrovert, but still only have a small tight-knit group of close friends, plus a few more – the word ‘friend’ meaning a person you’d do anything for, and can count on at all times. I’m also an anti-big-city and a northern person inside out. I prefer outdoors to indoors, love sports (crap at soccer, good at and in love with volleyball, actively swimming since 1999), dream of buying a motorcycle one day, am passionate about literature in all types, shapes and forms, like technical stuff, and am going to accomplish the Finnish military service during 7/2009-7/2010. I am currently not in a relationship, and for the time being, still live with my parents, who have been happily married for nearly 21 years.

CAN I FRIEND YOU/YOU JUST FRIENDED ME, WHY?

If you’re reading this because you’d like to friend, or just friended me, thank you and nice to make your acquaintance. If you’re reading this because I friended you, we most probably have something in common, already know each other, or I look up to you and wish to track your LJ because you are an amazing artist/author/etc. On principle, anyone can feel free to friend me, and I will friend them back (in 99 cases out of 100). A comment in an entry wouldn’t be out of place either before or after friending me, though. My LJ is, however, not Friends Only (as of April 2009).
